Incorporated in 2004, we have the privilege of introducing long pile artificial grass (FieldTurf) for the first time in India. And this spawned an entirely new market for artificial turf that looks almost as real as natural grass...does not need watering, is versatile in its applications and long-lasting.

We have successfully installed SAARC region's first FIFA standard artificial grass football field in Goa (Chowgule College) in December 2005. And subsequently many more such grounds, the most prominent being the world's second largest stadium - Salt Lake Stadium – which achieved the highest rating (2-Star) by FIFA.

Our hockey field in UP achieved the FIH certification for Global category competitions.

There are many other firsts that GSI achieved including an installation for Infosys that is unique worldwide due to its 45° sloped rooftop, 235 feet tall and 225 feet wide!

We owe our success significantly to the extensive distribution network covering most of India. That explains how we have installations in almost 200 cities and towns! More importantly, the distributors average over 5 years with the FieldTurf range and are extremely competent.

In the recent past, we have extended our portfolio to cover Indoor Sports flooring (PVC cushioned systems and Wooden flooring from Tarkett); Synthetic Athletic tracks from Porplastic, interlocking modular flooring for Indoor and Outdoor sports from SnapSports; aeration & water removal technology for sports field from SubAir etc.

Doing good while doing well: For a country that often loses great talent due to lack of support, we stepped up to support one of the most promising women's hockey player – Rani Rampal – through GoSports Foundation. We hope that the modest bit we are doing goes some way in helping her – and India – develop the full potential of players like her.
